NEARLY ALL WOMEN BY JEAN PIGOZZI

During the FIAC and at the start of Paris Photo, Zadig&Voltaire has once again decided to place the work of an exceptional artist in the spotlight: Jean Pigozzi. From 15 October to 31 March 2020, in its art gallery located at 2 rue Cambon, the brand has invited the Italian photographer to exhibit a selection of his most beautiful pieces.

Under the artistic direction of his long-time friend Cecilia Bönström, the exhibition named “Nearly all women “ is an ode to women, the brand name’s second love. Behind the photographer’s lens, she reveals herself, sometimes undresses. Amongst the 100 shots, visitors can discover Diane Von Furstenberg drinking a beer in Venice in ‘91, Isabelle Adjani hitting the red carpet at the Cannes Festival in 1981, Fanny Ardant’s legs in Antibes in ‘90, and of course Kate Moss, the face of Zadig&Voltaire’s current campaign, posing in ‘97 with a mischievous smile.

Exciting moments, captured live in black and white, which travel through time, the night and jet set. But there’s more. Some of Jean Pigozzi’s most recent pieces of work moved Cecilia Bönström just as much. More intimate photos, taken last summer by the Mediterranean. It is more than just an exhibition; it is an invitation to go elsewhere
