Voltaire vice
Zadig & Voltaire is supporting Benjamin Millepied at the seventh edition of the Kryptographie International Photography Festival, which is being staged in Kyoto and is focusing on the theme “Vibe”. The choreographer, director and professional dancer sums up his exhibition entitled Freedom In The Dark, as follows:“My exhibition juxtaposes my dancers in moments of transformation and liberation, against the unexpressive silhouette bodies in the streets of a black and white Los Angeles”. The photographs taken at his Los Angeles studio will be exhibited at Kondaya Genbei Kurogura, a 200-year-old obi (kimono belt) atelier now in the hands of Genbei Yamaguchi X, whose family has overseen the workshop for ten generations. As part of the Maison’s support, Zadig & Voltaire and Benjamin Millepied have also collaborated on the design of an exclusive capsule collection of three limited edition T-shirts featuring his photos. The capsule collection will be sold through Zadig outlets from 12 April in Japan and Europe and online from 24 April. «Art is truth!»
